This website lists any certified counselor or registrant ADP has revoked based on substantiated allegations of misconduct. This site will be updated regularly upon ADP’s determination that a finding of misconduct by a counselor or registrant has become final.

California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title IX, Section 13075, requires the certifying organizations to maintain an automated electronic database, containing a record for each registrant or counselor the organization has certified. The record shall document:

  • Investigation and outcome of the investigation of any complaints alleging violations of the code of conduct;
  • Temporary suspension or revocation of certification pursuant to Section 13065; and
  • Final outcome of any appeal of temporary suspension or revocation.

The database shall be electronically accessible by ADP and by the public. The information contained in the database shall be updated each working day and kept current at all times. The certifying organization shall retain the information kept in the database for five years from the date of initial certification, denial, last renewal, temporary suspension, or revocation, whichever occurs last.

CCR Title IX, Section 13065 requires ADP to investigate all alleged violations of the code of conduct by a registrant or a certified alcohol and other drug counselor. Within ninety (90) days of receipt of the request ADP is required to send a written order to the certifying organization specifying what corrective action (if any) it shall take based on ADP’s investigation and the severity of the violation. Section 13065(f) requires the certifying organization to document in its database the violation alleged, the outcome of ADP’s investigation, and what action the certifying organization took based on ADP’s investigation the same day that the certifying organization sends written notification to the counselor or registrant.

The following counselors have had their registration or certification suspended by ADP between the period of 10/1/08 through 6/1/09.
