This online resource is updated continuously. Also, monthly the Treatment Works Publication is produced in pdf that can be downloaded (beware: this file is 504 pages in length and 1.3Mb). All material appearing in this publication is public domain and may be reproduced or copied without permission. This publication includes:

  • AOD providers by county in alphabetical order

  • a City-County Index

Some of the agencies listed in Treatment Works! specialize in alcohol recovery or drug abuse treatment. Others provide a broad range of services, which may include various community services or general mental health care. Please call ahead to determine which program best suits your needs. The glossary provides a description of the treatment services listed in the Treatment Works! directory. The services listed are self-reported by each program. Inclusion in this directory is voluntary and does not constitute an endorsement by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.

SAMHSA Facility Locator

Updates to facility names, addresses, telephone numbers and services are made weekly as facilities inform SAMHSA of changes. For additional advice, you may call the Referral Helpline operated by SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment:
