Description of Technical Assistance/Training Services or Materials
ONTRACK Program Resources provides technical assistance and training for alcohol and other drug programs & organizations working to improve options and outcomes for youth throughout California. Technical Assistance services include individual consulting, group and/or staff training, and product development. ONTRACK provides customized technical support to meet the special needs of organizations seeking to improve or target services specifically for youth.
Typical areas of technical assistance and training focus include:

  • Screening and Assessment
  • Ethics and Consent Guidelines
  • Best Practice Models and Strategies for Youth Development
  • Parental Involvement Strategies
  • Age/Development and Cultural Competency
  • Gender Specific Youth Treatment Approaches

  • Strategic Planning and Resource Development
  • Outreach and Recruitment

Populations or Groups Served — Community-based organizations, local and county government agencies and programs, churches and neighborhood groups.

Eligibility Criteria —Organizations providing alcohol and other drug services in prevention, treatment or recovery specifically targeted to youth.

Fees — Cost - Free

Time Limit on Availability of Services — Contract with ADP expires on
June 30, 2008.
