Description of Technical Assistance/Training Services or Materials
TECC is operated by ETR Associates for the California Department of Health Services (CDHS), Tobacco Control Section (TCS). Tobacco education materials are available for ordering at low or no cost by all projects funded by TCS, other agencies and schools within California, and out-of-state agencies. The following other services are only available to projects funded by TCS: TA on availability and development of educational materials, and resource center services such as reference and referral, on-line searches, and lending library circulation services.

Populations or Groups Served — Agencies/ Organizations funded by the CDHS, Tobacco Control Section. However, materials may be ordered by any agency or school. Materials are available for African American, American Indian, Asian and Pacific Islander, Hispanic/ Latino, youth, perinatal, Lesbian/ Gay, and general audiences. In addition to English, materials are also available in Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, Cambodian, Korean, Hmong, Laotian, Viatnamese, and Samoan.

Fees — Charges for materials are listed in the TECC catalo. Services are available to projects funded by the CDHS TCS at no charge.

Application Procedure — A database is kept of all TCS-funded projects. Call to request catalog for materials.
