Governor's Prevention Advisory Council (GPAC)
About the Council
The Council's purpose is to coordinate the State's strategic efforts to achieve measurable reductions in the incidence and prevalence of the inappropriate use of alcohol and other drugs by youth and adults. This will be achieved by strategically working together on alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) prevention issues of common concern.
The Council is chaired by Renée Zito, Director of the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.
