Quarterly Report and Invoice Instructions
In order to receive reimbursement for a Comprehensive Drug Court Implementation (CDCI) claim, complete Alcohol and Drug Program (ADP) CDCI Forms A and B. Both forms must be submitted and approved in order to receive reimbursement. They are due 30 days after the end of each three-month period and must be mailed to the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, Office of Drug Court Programs, 5th Floor, 1700 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814-4022. These forms can be downloaded below.

Form A - CDCI Quarterly Claim for Reimbursement - List all Treatment-Related and Court-Related and Other Costs by quarter on this form. Costs submitted on invoices must be reflected in the current approved CDCI budget. Separate invoices must be submitted for each active program budget period, for each billing period. Please note that this includes both extension awards as well as current periods.
Form B - Quarterly Narrative Report - Provide a narrative report on the Goals and Objectives for the current quarter on this form.

Definitions of Allowable Costs
Allowable costs are costs that are reasonably related to the drug court system(s) to be implemented and that can not be provided by other community agencies. These costs are divided into two subsets: (1) Treatment-Related and (2) Court-Related and Other Costs. It is recommended that Court-Related and Other Costs not exceed 10 percent of the total budget.
Allowable costs may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Treatment-Related Costs
- Assessment
- Acupuncture
- Childcare
- Client transportation - This may include public transportation or taxis, however, funds shall not be used to purchase or maintain a client's private vehicle.
- Day-care habilitative substance abuse Treatment
- Detoxification
- Drug court coordinator
- Drug testing
- Job Placement
- Non-residential treatment
- Public prevention counseling
- Residential treatment
- Vocational counseling
- Court-Related and Other Costs
- Consultants
- Data collection costs
- Equipment (i.e., computer, modem, printer, etc.)
- Facilities
- Supplies
- Training
- Travel
